Gurgaon is not one market. It is a set of corridors, each built at a different time, each with its own price level, buyer profile and stage of infrastructure. Understanding that structure is most of the work — after which choosing a property is a manageable decision rather than an overwhelming one.
This guide is the entry point. It links to a full guide for every corridor, to the developers building in each, and to the projects we currently advise on.
Golf Course Road is Gurgaon's original luxury address. It runs behind the NH-48 corridor, from Sikanderpur down to Sector 55–56, with the DLF phases, Sushant Lok and the golf course arranged…
Golf Course Extension Road is where most of Gurgaon's new luxury supply has gone. It picks up where Golf Course Road stops and runs south-east through the 60s and 70s sectors, with the Arava…

New Gurgaon sits west of NH-48, around Kherki Daula and out toward Pataudi Road. Larger land parcels here have allowed lower-density layouts, more open space and more villa and plotted stock…

Central Gurgaon is the part of the city that existed before the corridors did: Old Gurgaon, the numbered inner sectors, and the MG Road spine running toward Delhi. It is fully serviced, clos…

Which is the best area to buy property in Gurgaon?
There is no single answer, and anyone who gives you one is selling something. Golf Course Road suits buyers who want an established address and are willing to pay for it. Golf Course Extension Road suits buyers who want newer, larger stock. Dwarka Expressway suits buyers who prioritise Delhi and airport access. New Gurgaon suits buyers who want space and have time. The right answer depends on your commute, your timeline and your budget.
What budget do I need to buy in Gurgaon?
It varies enormously by corridor and format, and published price points go stale quickly, so we quote from current developer cost sheets and live resale inventory rather than from a page. Tell us your budget and we will tell you honestly what it buys and where.
Is Gurgaon a good place to invest in property?
It has been a growth market for two decades, but that is a statement about the past. What matters for a specific purchase is the corridor's infrastructure status, the developer's delivery record, and the price relative to comparable stock nearby. Those three questions decide most outcomes.
What is the difference between Gurgaon and Gurugram?
They are the same city. Gurugram is the official name adopted in 2016; Gurgaon remains in common use, including in the property market.
