Value and access
Sohna Road
Sohna Road is one of Gurgaon's older working corridors. People already live here, work here and send their children to school here — which sounds obvious until you compare it with corridors where all of that is still arriving.
Stock is a mix of vintages, prices sit below the golf-course corridors, and the trade-off is traffic at the northern end during peak hours.

Where the corridor runs
Schematic map. Start and end points are described below.
Geographic extent
Runs from Rajiv Chowk on NH-48 in the north, south past the Sector 47–49 belt and Vatika Chowk, and on toward Sohna via the elevated road.
- Property types
- Apartments and older condominiums, some independent floors, and a significant amount of office and retail space along the corridor.
- Connectivity
- NH-48 at Rajiv Chowk, SPR at Vatika Chowk, and the elevated road running south toward Sohna. Central Gurgaon and Cyber City are reachable via NH-48.
- Schools
- Several long-established schools sit on and immediately beside the corridor.
- Healthcare
- Hospitals and clinics on the corridor itself, with major hospitals a short drive north.
- Retail
- Established retail along the corridor and neighbourhood markets within the older sectors.
- Lifestyle
- Mature retail, offices, restaurants and markets — less new-build gloss, more day-to-day function.
Corridors are shown schematically rather than on a street map. For exact geometry, open the corridor in your preferred maps application.
Why buyers consider it
Why buyers consider Sohna Road
- Established, functioning social infrastructure rather than promised infrastructure.
- Offices and retail on the corridor itself, which supports rental demand.
- Direct access to NH-48 at Rajiv Chowk and to SPR at Vatika Chowk.
- The Sohna elevated road has changed travel times to the south.
- Prices below the golf-course corridors for comparable internal space.
Who the area suits
Buyers who want functioning infrastructure now at a lower price than the golf-course corridors, people working along the corridor or NH-48, and landlords who want genuine tenant demand.
Trade-offs to weigh
- Peak-hour traffic at the Rajiv Chowk end is the standard complaint.
- Much of the stock is older, so building condition, parking and maintenance need close inspection.
- Less new luxury supply than the corridors to the east.
- Streetscape and public realm are workmanlike rather than premium.
Nearby destinations
NH-48 and Rajiv Chowk to the north, SPR at Vatika Chowk, the Sohna elevated road to the south, and the offices, schools and hospitals along the corridor itself.
Current development
A mix of redevelopment, newer launches toward the Vatika Chowk end, and continuing commercial activity.
Investment considerations
Rental demand is genuine because the corridor already works. Older stock needs closer inspection — building condition, maintenance and parking are worth as much attention as the price.
